Knowing the right way to hold your baby and following certain tips can reduce the pain and prevent any future back pain resulting from carrying your baby.

Tips To Relieving Your Pain.

1- Pain Killers.

Mild or moderate back pain can be alleviated with over-the-counter pain killers like ibuprofen, if the back doesn’t improve talk to your doctor to prescribed muscle relaxants or strength-pain relievers can help the situation. If you are breastfeeding make sure to inform your doctor to only prescribe safe meds for you and your baby.

Allergic reaction is the identification of inflammation or irritation to some part of the body, some people can be allergic to the regular washing soap which makes them have an allergic reaction on the skin after getting in contact with soap. Most people that have allergic reaction to soap are those who tend to wash their hands more frequently like health care workers. Even though soap allergy wouldn’t really lead to serious health issues, it can cause Undesired discomfort and irritation that could be prevented by following certain tips.

Symptoms.

Allergic reaction to soap is known as contact dermatitis, this skin condition is characterized by red rash that is painful and itchy, sometimes it can be accompanied with blisters, this allergic reaction typically starts to appear 24 to 48 hours of getting in contact with soap and could last for up to 2 to 4 weeks.

Causes.

Soap allergy usually occurs due to the fragrances and chemicals found in washing soap which triggers an immunological response. People that have soap allergy their immune system finds the fragrances and chemicals in soap to be a foreign sickening and infectious materials, this triggers an immune response which releases the chemicals the skin absorbed from soap which causes inflammation and the irritation that is experienced after getting in contact with the allergens. The allergic reaction can also be caused by sodium lauryl sulfate which is an ingredient found in soap that strips your skin of its natural moisturizing oils.

Complications.

Complications associated with soap allergy involve the scratching of the itchy parts of the son which can further worsen the situation and increase inflammation. Scratching the itchy parts of the skin can lead to a condition called neurodermatitis which causes the affected parts of the skin more leathery and thicker than the rest of the skin, people with neurodermatitis can also have permanent itchy dark patches of the skin.

Diagnosis.

Doctors can diagnose soap allergy by the appearance of the inflamed skin and by asking the patient questions about any recent changes in soap, detergents or shampoos. A patch test can be done to confirm the diagnosis, the test is done by applying a patch the contains the chemicals suspected to be the cause for the allergic reaction to a part of the skin, the patch then gets removed within 48 hours to observe any allergic reaction, the patient will be monitored for the following 48 hours to determine if there’s any delayed reaction to the chemicals.

Treatment.

The best way to avoid the allergic reaction is by staying away from the cause, switching brands that didn’t cause allergic reaction should be a step to take. Medical treatment can include orally taken antihistamines, topical ointments that contains cortisone, calamine lotions to sooth the irritation and cold compresses.

Get Support.

It is wise to choose that your baby’s food source is only breastmilk, but that doesn’t mean you have to do all the job yourself, you can use a pump to store the milk in a bottle and ask your partner to wake up at least once through the night to feed the baby and put it back to sleep, that will help you to catch on more sleep, if you are not sure how to use a pump, a lactation nurse or even your doctor can help you learn how to use it and store the milk in a safe way.

That sounds like good news even though it is not like we need yet another excuse to enjoy our morning habit, but it turned out that that small dose of caffeine you get with your morning coffee could actually be the reason you are to live longer, yes even for decades.

In a study conducted by the University of Southern California which measures the data of over 16 years from 185,855 participant of different ethnicities aged between 45 to 75 at the beginning of the study. The findings will have millions of people happy everywhere around the world.

The findings of the study were published in the Annals of Internal Medicine and they show that those who drink a cup of coffee per day are less likely to die by heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, cancer or stroke by 12 percent in comparison to those who don’t drink any. When one or two more cups of coffee added daily the percentage to die from one of these diseases reduce by 18 percent.
The research and the findings were applied equally of African Americans, Latinos, Whites and Japanese Americans

What’s even more interesting, it didn’t really matter if people  had regular or decaffeinated coffee. Meaning that the associations didn’t really depend on the caffeine in coffee. However scientists are yet to pinpoint the life lengthening compound found in coffee.

Of course we can’t exactly say that coffee will make you live longer, but the study found solid associations between regular intake of coffee and reduced risk of fetal diseases that are considered the leading cause of death for millions of people around the world. So if you are a coffee lover, enjoy it with no guilt and if you don’t like coffee, you should consider getting in the habit of having at least one cup of java a day.

To add to the good news for all coffee lovers. Another study published by the Annals of Internal Medicine which was conducted by the Imperial College London and the International Agency for Research on Cancer gave very similar findings by analyzing 521,330 people in 10 different European countries over the course of 16 years. The findings was that, regular consumption of coffee was pinked to reduced risk of various diseases across all the ten countries.

In the report, researchers say they found that higher consumption of coffee was linked to lowered risk of death from various causes specifically circulatory and digestive diseases. They found that the regular consumption of coffee resulted in better liver function and stronger immune response.

No more fad diets, indeed according to a new study in the Journal of Nutrition, the key to weight loss or at least keeping weight gain at bay is the size of your meal and what time you eat it. In the study, researchers analyzed the data of over 50.000 adults over a period of 7 years and found that there were certain behaviors linked to staving off weight gain or even aiding in weight loss.

In comparison to people who ate three meals a day, people who ate one or two meals a day showed a decrease in their body mass index per year while those who ate three meals a day actually had their BMI increased as the study went on.  The more snacks and meals people at the greater the increase in their BMI showed to be.

People who fasted about 18 hours a day between dinner and breakfast showed the  showed the greatest BMI decrease over the course of the study than those who fasted 12 to 17 hours.

Breakfast habits were observed too, those who made sure to eat the first meal of the day showed a gradual decrease in their BMI over the course of the study than those who skipped breakfast who tended to put on more weight.

What they participants ate and how much they ate mattered too, this who made their breakfast the largest meal of the day actually tended to have a lower BMI than those who ate their largest meal for dinner.  Those who made their lunch their main meal had similar results to those who had the main meal for breakfast but the results were slightly different.
