Pregnancy Due Date Calculator
The last stage of your pregnancy is full of contrasts due to your baby’s large size inside your womb and your personal need for rest. The 30th week in particular can be boring but the idea of hugging and touching your baby soon should let you excited. This article will help you combat such confusing elements and keep your pregnancy safe and healthy.
Your baby’ development in function and long will slow down, but he will double his weight rapidly during the coming few weeks. He weights now about 1.3kg and can open and close his eyes freely and see what is going on around him. However, your baby will see just 20 or 30cm distance after his birth. In most cases, your baby’s digestive tract and lung become fully developed at the end of the 30th week and his bone marrow can produce the red blood cells to prove that your baby can depend on himself after birth.
The amount of amniotic fluid surrounding your lovely baby seems to decrease at this point, but your uterus is growing rapidly to consume your growing baby and the needed amount of the fluid to protect him. Such a growing uterus may press a part of your lungs and stomach to make it hard to breath and eat starting from this point. You may still experience a few early pregnancy symptoms starting from the 30th week including the tender breasts, heartburn, regular fatigue, and rapid need to pee.
At the 30th week of pregnancy, you will have contrasting feelings and emotions, as you will feel hungry but can’t eat too much, feel fatigue but can’t sleep, and feel thirsty and need the bathroom regularly. Your extra weight in addition to the nightmares concerning birth can spoil your sleep, but you should change your sleeping position regularly and search about positive delivery experiences around you to enhance your idea about the delivery day.
If you will prepare your bag now, you will need clothes for you and your baby along your stay in the hospital and the items and belongings you will need during and after delivery- including an oversized t-shirt, suitable sized toiletries for you and the baby, TENS machine, and lip balm. Along with such preparations, you may need to go to the pedicure or the coiffure to keep your hairstyle and maintain your body before your baby’s arrival.
