There is no doubt that pregnancy requires extra care than other normal times of your life, you are not only responsible of your own health, but also of your little baby too. You need to follow some main tips to get the best nutrients during that time and am here to help you, so let’s start.

The first thing you should know about eating during pregnancy, it’s not about just eating for eating, it’s about eating the right and beneficial foods. One of the important elements that you should include in your diet is protein, it’s a great source of amino acid that you need in your pregnancy, it will make you feel full for long times and will give the energy that you need at that time. If you are not a big fan of meat, you can replace it with nuts or nuts butter as they are considered a great source of protein as well

Drink enough water, it will help you a lot during pregnancy, it will keep you full, reduce the headaches, constipation and will reduce the bloating feeling as well. I know processed foods are delicious and easy meals, but please avoid theses kinds of food during your pregnancy as it contains tons of sodium which is bad for you at this stage of your life. Replace drinking soda with drinking fresh fruits juice, but try to avoid the citrus juices.

Fats aren’t a scary word, because there are some kinds of healthy fats and you know what? You should have some of these healthy fats during your pregnancy like olive oil, avocado and some kinds of fishes like, salmons and avoid tuna because it’s filled with mercury which is not recommend for you during pregnancy.

Eat more foods that is rich with fibers like fresh vegetables and leafy greens; they will improve your digestion and make you feel full for longer times. Always keep a dish full with nuts near you; nuts are full of beneficial vitamins and minerals that are good for you. Pay extra attention to diary products, it will provide you with enough calcium that your body needs during pregnancy, but don’t forget to take low fat products.

Remember to ask your doctor about the supplements that you will need and please don’t follow any prescription but the ones that the doctors tell you about to maintain the safety of your and you baby’s health.
