Cancer is probably the most feared disease ever. It happens when human cells don’t grow when they are supposed to or die when they are supposed to. They keep growing into an entity that destroys the human body. One of the most feared cancers is colon cancer. However, if you do have relatives who suffered from it, you can do the things you will read in this article to make sure you will not suffer from it as well.
1- Make sure your diet has enough vitamin D and calcium. These two nutrients are a necessary preventive measure for making sure you will not suffer from colon cancer. If you are a woman, you need about 1000 mg of calcium and about 600 units in vitamin D. Dairy products and oily fish are among the foods richest in these two nutrients.
2- Drink green tea often. One effective policy of protecting yourself from cancer is drinking enough green tea. Almost each and every study conducted on green tea came to the conclusion that it suppresses and stops the activity of cancerous cells effectively. To make sure you are drinking enough green tea, fill your 2 liter water bottle with green tea instead of water and drink it throughout the day.

4- Include garlic more in your food. Another health bomb you should take into account is garlic. It may be pungent and causes odors, but its health benefits are not to be belittled. Prevent colon cancer by adding chopped raw garlic to your salads and appetizer, or just by swallowing it if you are concerned about the smell.
5- Exercise regularly. A 30 minute walk every day won’t kill you or drain your energy; it will protect you from all types of cancer, much less colon cancer. Every study conducted on every type of cancer since the beginning of time till now found that the risk of cancer is significantly reduced with regular exercise.
You can usually avoid any type of cancer with usual checkups, healthy natural food and regular exercise.
