Most people consider any persistent pain as a simple body ache and they don’t consider visiting a doctor. But the fact is that some of the most common ailments we have can actually be the first warning signs of cancer which requires a fully diagnose. A few years back, the studies found that about half of the adult that was diagnosed with cancer had suffered from cancer symptoms but they ignore them thinking that they are common ailments. Change in Bowel Movements and Habits
Our bowel movements can change from time to time caused by certain foods or medication. But if you experienced regular bowel disruptions over time with no considerable reasons, you should immediately see a doctor because it could be a sign of colon cancer.

Bleeding
If you suddenly experience a usual bleeding in any part of your body, don’t hesitate to see a doctor. Bleeding from the nose or mouth can be a sign of lung or throat cancer. Blood in the stool can signify colon or rectal cancer. Any women who experience unexplained vaginal bleeding should visit a doctor as it can be a symptom of cervical or endometrial cancer. For women, bleeding from the nipple can indicate to breast cancer. On the other hand, blood in the urine can be a sign of bladder or kidney cancer.

Persistent Cough
Generally, coughs don’t present serious disease but you should worry if you suffer from a persistent cough which didn’t heal by medicines or if you have coughs that are accompanied with blood. These types of coughs can be signs of alarming health problems. Persistent coughing and hoarseness can be symptoms of throat or lung cancer so you should be checked once you experience any of these symptoms.

Unexplained Weight Loss
If you are losing weight without doing any effort or having any causes, you should visit a doctor. According to the American Cancer Society, unexplained weight loss of 10 pounds or more could be the first sign of cancer. This can be a sign of pancreatic, stomach, lung, or esophageal cancer.

Unexplained Pain
Any persistent unexplained pain in your body should be a concern. Persistent pain in chest or back can signify lung cancer and pain in the abdomen may be a sign of ovarian cancer. And persistent headaches can signal brain cancer.
