Things You Should Know before You “Embark” on a Gastric Bypass Surgery

Gastric Bypass surgery is one of the widely popular weight loss surgeries people undergo currently. According to, Gastric Bypass is “a surgery that helps you lose weight by changing how your stomach and small intestine handle the food you eat.

After the surgery, your stomach will be smaller. You will feel full with less food” There are some things you should know if you are considering a gastric bypass surgery. Such as:

1- It is all about how much you eat. Surgery or not, to lose weight, you need to consume less calories. There is no way around it. The surgery just forces the diet on you by making you feel like you are going to vomit if you have another bite even though what you have eaten is very little.

2- Your body won’t fix itself with a bypass surgery, or any surgery for that matter. The surgery will just rid you of extra fat. It won’t tone your muscles or tighten your skin. There is no way around it here either. You will need to exercise for a long time before going out in the open in a swimsuit.

3- It has lousy psychological effects. Let me put it this way: IF you are a man with a “certain embarrassing problem” that prevents you from having a healthy intimate relationship with women, this problem won’t prevent you from wanting to have a relationship with women. The same thing happens with gastric bypass.

You still love food. You still want to binge on hearty meals. You just won’t be able to due to the hellish aftermath. And you will feel awful.
