Lemon Honey Facial Treatment: Lemons contain vitamin C and antioxidants which can fight bacteria. But the thing that not many people know is that lemons also contain hydroxyl acids which can be used in exfoliating the skin. Cut a lemon in half and remove the seeds. Add one teaspoon of honey to the halves. And use them to rub all over the face. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and then rinse your face with warm water.
Honey Almond Body Scrub: Almond is known to be used for exfoliating the skin. While both the almonds and the honey are good moisturizing ingredients. Mix 2 teaspoons of ground almond with two teaspoons of honey to form a paste. Rub the paste into your face with a circular motion. This scrub can be applied on any part of our body.
Honey Hair Shine Boosting Rinse: You have two ways to do this rinse; Add ¼ cup of warm water to one spoon of honey and rinse your hair with this solution after applying shampoo. Leave it on your hair for an hour, then rinse with water. Or the other way is to mix a teaspoon and half of honey with 5 cups of warm water. And rinse your hair with it.
Honey Exfoliant: Use honey as a scrub once a week to get a soft and clear skin. Add 2 parts of honey with one part of baking soda and rub into your face.
Honey Skin Lotion: For dry skin, add a teaspoon of olive oil to a spoonful of honey and mix them with a squeeze of lemon. Apply it on the dry areas of your skin and leave on for at least 20 minutes. Then wipe it off with a warm washcloth.
Milk and Honey Bath Soak: Combine ¼ cup of honey with 2 cups of milk and a few drops of essential oil. Add this to a hot bath.
