Darkening of inner thighs is a common problem that faces many ladies. This problem always affects overweight women as their thighs tend to rub against one another while walking or exercising. Also, the dryness of skin in this area can lead to darkening especially as many females don’t give enough care to it. But you can cure this problem naturally by DIY home remedies.
1. Lemon: Lemon acts as a natural bleaching agent for dark skin and it has effective antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Cut a lemon in half and rub it on the skin for 15 minutes, then rinse it with lukewarm water.
Apply a moisturizer after using lemon to avoid the drying effect of lemon. Or you can combine 1 tablespoon each of lemon juice and glycerin with 1 teaspoon of rosewater and mix well. Apply this mixture on the inner thighs before going to bed. Let it stay overnight and wash it the next morning with warm water. Do this once daily.
2. Cucumbers: Cucumber has a natural bleaching property that makes it effective for brightening up dark inner thighs. It also has many components that can repair skin cells and remove dead skin cells. Rub cucumber slices or cucumber juice on your thighs for 10 minutes.
Let it set for 5 minutes then wash it with water. Do this remedy once or twice daily. Alternatively, make a paste of sandalwood powder, cucumber juice, and lemon juice and apply it on your thighs for 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily.
3. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil helps lighten hyperpigmentation on the skin and also moisturizes the skin. Add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and apply this mixture on your inner thighs. Gently massage your skin for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.
4. Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera has soothing and antioxidant properties that help repair your skin. Extract pure aloe vera gel from the leaf and massage it directly on the affected areas. Leave it for 20 minutes, then wash it with warm water. You can do this remedy twice a day to get fast results. Or, mix 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with a few drops of almond oil and apply this solution on your inner thighs, massage your inner thighs with this mixture until it is absorbed into your skin. Wash it after 15 minutes with water. Use this pack twice a day
